Raider 12 AP Ski Touring Binding

<p>Comfort has a name: Raider 12 AP touring binding from ATK Bindings. The pin binding has everything that makes the ascent easy and the descent safe. And at just 345 grams including stopper. Lightweight CNC-milled 7075 aircraft aluminum makes it possible.</p> <p <p>One of the comfort highlights is certainly the closed toe piece, which makes it almost impossible for the springs to ice up or for dirt and snow to accumulate and makes entry super easy even in soft, deeper snow thanks to the defined toe stop on the open locking lever. The closed construction also offers excellent lateral stability on the descent.</p> <p <p>The R12 AP comes with an integrated crampon holder and magnetic 2-way climbing aid with no less than five walking positions (flat, +38 mm, +41 mm, +48 mm, +58 mm). To ensure that the ski can flex freely even on uneven terrain without impairing the functionality of the binding, a length compensation of up to 4 mm via an integrated damping spring in the base plate ensures the best possible contact pressure at all times. For the AP version of the binding, the heel piece has been revised. The stopper is no longer attached by means of a slider but by means of a rotating heel piece.</p <p>The length of the binding can be adjusted by up to 25 mm, allowing it to be adapted to boot soles of different lengths. <p>&nbspBy the way: If you're still not satisfied with the stability, you can significantly improve the power transmission in the heel area with the optionally available Freeride Spacer AL09. <p>ATK Bindings recommends the R12 touring binding for ski widths of approx. 80-120 mm under the binding and a weight of approx. 1,000-1,700 g/ski.</p>
