<p>Alpine Association maps have long been the reference in the field of alpine cartography due to their high accuracy (usually at a scale of 1:25,000), the great wealth of detail in the terrain representation of the high mountains and their very finely tuned division with overlapping map sheets. The maps are regularly updated and checked for accuracy by cartographers in the field. <p>There are three categories to optimally meet the different requirements: <strong>AV maps with waymarking</strong> (first choice for mountaineers and mountain hikers), <strong>AV maps with marked ski routes</strong> and extra-alpine <strong>expedition maps</strong> for the most important high mountain regions of the world.</p> <p <p>&nbsp;</p>
