Description

Even in the most remote corners of the world, Garmin's inReach Mini 2 emergency messenger keeps you in touch with your loved ones back home. Using the Iridium® satellite network, you can communicate via two-way text messaging even when there's no cellular reception.

Of course, you can also use the device to make an emergency call to the Garmin IERCC rescue centre, which is manned 24/7. The SOS button makes this easy, and your position can be located immediately. You can also share your position with those at home via MapShare™.

The inReach Mini 2 Emergency Messenger has an extremely long battery life of 30 days and records your position every 10 minutes in standard mode. However, battery life can be significantly reduced in dense tree cover. But you can also switch to a 30-minute cycle, in which case the battery will last a full 30 days.

Another great thing about the inReach Mini 2 emergency messenger is its compact, lightweight design and highly robust construction. Other necessary functions include TracBack routing, a digital compass and the ability to have weather data sent to your device.

Please note: An active satellite subscription is required to access the Iridium network and to communicate with the inReach Mini 2.
