The jacket insulates with 3M&trade; Thinsulate&trade; Featherless insulation and is made from 75% recycled material. The thermal performance can be compared to a 700 cuin down filling, whereby the Featherless insulation material has far fewer problems with moisture. It even insulates better than down when wet.
