The waterproof mid-cut boot is certainly suitable for challenges in mountainous terrain, but you can also use the comfortable hiker optimally on more relaxed routes on flatter terrain.</p> <p <p>Thanks to the Kevlar-reinforced, abrasion-resistant rip-stop upper made from polyamide, the Hiker, which is unusual for the Swiss running shoe experts, is sufficiently robust. The agile, highly protective shoe also scores points with an excellent supportive yet sufficiently flexible upper. You can optimally adjust the Cloudalpine WP thanks to the two-zone lacing that extends far forward for a secure fit.</p> <p>A Speedboard® made from polyamide with a significant carbon content provides the necessary stability for the sole - keeping a favourable balance between strength, elasticity and lightness. You don't have to do without the excellent CloudTec® cushioning that is typical of ON. In addition, the blocky lug profile with heel brake offers excellent grip on soft, stony and rocky ground.</p>
