You can always rely on the Ortovox Western Alps Jacket.</p><p>The combination of an elastic, breathable base material with abrasion-resistant MERINO NATURETEC RIPS inserts makes the softshell jacket comfortable and durable. Merino wool on the inside provides additional comfort, while the firm woven structure even has wind and water repellent properties. </p><p>The equipment features are also tailored to the requirements of a high altitude tour. The large hood protects the head from adverse weather conditions, both with and without a helmet, and the hem and cuffs can be individually adjusted. Two large front pockets offer plenty of storage space, can be operated even under a rucksack and also function as ventilation openings thanks to their mesh lining. </p><p>With its technical, light and comfortable features, the West Alps jacket can't wait to be used at high altitudes. </p>
