Description

The UBAC 95 touring ski from ZAG skis is made for women who are not afraid of long ascents with skins in search of excellent powder spots. Despite its lightness, the ski surprises with a versatility that is second to none. Powder slopes, crushed snow, short turns or long turns, the UBAC 95 can do it all. 95 millimeters under the binding and a significantly revised rocker/camber line compared to last year's models ensure more fun even on quick descents and frosty terrain. The comparatively large load-bearing surface makes it easier to track in soft snow, but is also excellent to handle in existing, frozen tracks. The lively French ski then reveals its full potential downhill. Thanks to the taper (the widest point in the shovel area is moved backwards) and rocker in the tip and tail, the freetourer floats up very nicely even at low speeds and also impresses with its shorter effective edge length and small radius with plenty of turning pleasure even on technically demanding terrain, in rutted moguls, narrow couloirs or treeruns. For this season, the ski makers from Chamonix have pimped the women's favorite once again and prepared it even better for the demands of harder, frosty terrain - often a weak point of ultra-light skis. The rocker/camber line has been revised and a new blend of fibreglass and carbon has been chosen to stabilize the lightweight poplar wood core. This has significantly improved edge grip and torsional rigidity. The ski stays on track reliably even at higher speeds.
<p
